Welcome to SmartIQ. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy will inform you as to how we look after your personal data when you use the SmartIQ iOS App and tell you about your privacy rights.
1. Data We Collect
We may collect, use, store and transfer different kinds of personal data about you which we have grouped together as follows:
- Identity Data: First name, last name, email address (obtained via Google Auth or Sign in with Apple).
- Business Data: Business names, addresses, contacts, and tax configurations that you input into the app.
- Transaction Data: Details about invoices, quotations, clients, and products you create.
2. How We Store Your Data
SmartIQ uses Google Cloud Firestore integrations to sync and store your business data securely. Your data is stored in the cloud so you can access it seamlessly across your authorized devices. Authentication is handled securely via Sign in with Apple and Google Authentication.
3. How We Use Your Data
We will only use your personal data when the law allows us to. Most commonly, we will use your personal data in the following circumstances:
- To register you as a new user.
- To process and deliver your requested services (e.g., generating PDF invoices).
- To manage our relationship with you.
- To improve our App, services, or customer relationships.
4. Data Security
We have put in place appropriate security measures to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, used, or accessed in an unauthorized way. All data transmitted between the SmartIQ App and our Firestore backend is encrypted in transit and at rest.
5. Your Legal Rights
Under certain circumstances, you have rights under data protection laws in relation to your personal data. You can request access, correction, erasure, or restriction of your personal data. You can delete your account entirely from within the Settings page of the app.
